Foster's Corner is a bluegrass music program produced and hosted by Bill Foster of Strasburg, Virginia. The program is broadcast every fourth Tuesday from 12Noon to 3 p.m. ET, and is rebroadcast that same week on Thurs. 12 a.m. ET, and Sun. 3 a.m. ET.
The next new program will broadcast on February 23, 2010 at noon!
Bill Foster has been a familiar voice on WAMU since the mid 1980's and brings WAMU's listeners three hours of great bluegrass music from the traditional to the modern, in the road, and on the edge. "I welcome the opportunity to continue bringing a great mix of bluegrass related music to Bluegrass Country's national and international listeners."
WAMU's Bluegrass Country is a 24-hour streaming bluegrass station that is part of the American University's public radio, WAMU 88.5FM. Programming is simulcast on WAMU's HD Radio channel 88.5-2, at 105.5FM in Reston, VA, and on the World-Wide Web at BluegrassCountry.org.
