Bill brings listeners three hours of great bluegrass music from the traditional to the modern, in the road, and on the edge. Bill features recordings from the 1960s thru some of today's latest, with a sprinkling of classic country tossed in.
Bill has been a familiar voice on WAMU since the mid 1980's. In 1985 he and the late Les McIntyre co-founded "Bluegrass Overnight" with co-host Carol Pittard, and later with Al Steiner. "Bluegrass Overnight" ran from 1985 through 2007.
